This 1960 Chevrolet Corvette is finished in Roman Red with white piping and features a factory color-matched hardtop and soft top over a black leather interior. It appears that a complete, body-off restoration was completed years ago, including a full repaint, interior refresh, and more. Power comes from a fair-trade 283/270 V8 engine that is equipped with two 4-barrel carburetors and is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission.
Current imperfections are described as individual paint chips on the hardtop, passenger door, and hood, all of which are shown in the gallery. This C1 has the correct rims with polished hubcaps and whitewall tires on each corner. The trunk contains a correct floor mat, floor, and spare tire assembly.
The interior has been refreshed, including the factory stainless steel door plates and a Wonder Bar radio.
A 283/270-spec high-rev tachometer remains fitted, as does the 3-spoke steering wheel as shown above. Currently the 5-digit mechanical odometer displays 8,469 miles, with total chassis mileage unknown.
Under the hood is a correct-type replacement 283ci/270 horsepower V8 with casting . It is equipped with two 4-barrel carburetors and sends power to the rear wheels through a 4-speed manual transmission.
